Allows you to change the Password for the CPS’s current codeplug. Once entered, this same password must be re-entered exactly the same in the Confirm Password field, thus confirming the accuracy of your intended password.

Password changes take effect only after the codeplug is saved to a file or written to the radio. |

Since it is possible to have unique passwords for each codeplug, it is important to create a process for tracking and storing (in a secure place) a codeplug password reference document. In the case of forgotten passwords, this document would then be available for reference purposes. |
